Meoda

Meoda (in Lithuanian: Wood, Metal, Tissue and Leather, MEdis, MEtalas, MEdžiaga ir ODA): a camera with a name made up using the materials it’s made of. It’s very big and makes big photos.

The beginning

Once upon a time long time ago I bought a coconut. With a hell of a difficulty made a hole in it, emptied it and ate and drank the contents. All what left was an empty shell. While I was looking and this shell a thought was coming into life. Suddenly it came: “I’ll make of it… a camera!” That’s how it all started.
